We stayed at this gorgeous boutique hotel named T House in Tagaytay. We were drawn in by the review of Lori Baltazar of Dessert Comes First for Yahoo here.
Truth be told, we stayed at Hotel Dominique the first night of our long weekend because latecomer that I am, cramming reservations, everything was booked! Hotel Dominique was described by our friend Alfajor as a glorified motel but we slept very comfortably, thank you.
Although our expectations of T House were so high that we couldn't wait til the following evening. Upon checking in at 2pm, we were impressed. We were met with this view of the grounds:
and ate here - although the mojito we ordered took half an hour to get to us, in spite of there being no other customers, and it tasted terrible. :(
The rooms looked promising:
Your reservation comes with free breakfast. The waiters during breakfast are wonderfully friendly. Loved them. But when I think about it, if you're in Tagaytay, you shouldn't waste your mornings with hotel food - have breakfast with a view elsewhere, like at Antonio's Breakfast!

However, there was a man sweeping the grounds all night long - maybe to clean the mess that Mina the typhoon had left behind - but my girlfriends Alfajor and the Virgin Mare couldn't sleep. "What if we look out and see that there is no one there?!" Aaaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!!
The place capitalizes on serenity, relaxation, spa treatments. So shhhhh!!! (The girlfriends weren't so sold on the therapists though and if you get a foot spa, they make you sit on a stool and leave you in dire search of a chair with backrest.)

In the mornings you can do your yoga poses here:
