We had the best New Year's Eve ever for the first time in our Makati residence. We had always celebrated in Bulacan but for the first time since we moved to this house, we witnessed the Makati New Year's Eve fireworks and it was AMAZING. Why didn't we think of this before?!
Fifteen minutes to New Year's, all that was in the expanse of the midnight sky was the beautiful moon.
Then once the countdown started it was a good twenty minutes (ten minutes til midnight and another ten minutes into January 1) of fireworks everywhere!
Our first meal was a simple buffet of ham, Hainanese chicken, roast duck, lechon and paella ... and my 15-year old niece Lady KK's Year of the Snake cupcakes. What was your menu? :)
It's true. There's no place like home.
