Tagaytay 2013 | Theodore

While I was in Tagaytay, very spur of the moment, I decided to stay overnight and so chose the more obvious-to-the-eye boutique hotel named Theodore.

For some reason I kept remembering Dr. Seuss. Probably because of its artsy fartsy designs.

Love the big red chair and the this horse that - in my head - I've named Titanium. And ya can't miss these eyes as you go up the stairs:

The rooms are at P7,000 for a deluxe on a weekend. BUT you get these cool decal walls.

... and a cute container for mints ...

The walls are a little thin and in the morning you may wake up to music or chairs being rearranged or whatever activity from the outside. But then you can have coffee to this view ...

Plus the room comes with a free massage although not past 9 p.m - boo. There is also complimentary breakfast but no room service past 9 p.m. either - boo. BUT you can order from neighboring restaurants like Pamana and their waiter will deliver your order (via Theodore's concierge) right to your room.
