ps. ang pag-pronounce pala ng Miele ay 'mee-luh' - parang Mila's lechon pero mas matigas ng konti - kala ko kasi dati 'meel' (as in 'my last meal') or myel - pero meeluh/meela pala. fyi ;-)

Italliani's? Seriously?

Is the guide available in Philippine bookstores?

I know! Can you believe it? Pero in fairview (ang bading ko talaga), masarap pa rin naman ang Italiannis. :-) Anyway, yup, it should be available by December in National, Powerbooks and Fully Booked. :-)

Hi Margaux! We were able to chat a bit at Claude's house in Pampanga last December. I have some photos of the trip on Flickr too (http://www.flickr.com/photos/timisiytangco/sets/72157612146292836/) but your food pix are better. And you caught me gnawing on the ribs in one of your pix! haha

Funny story about the Miele Guide:
My family ate at Bellini's one evening over the Christmas week and my mom, who has no shame, decided it was a good idea to get the chefs/owners at the restaurants to sign our copy. So she gives it to Senor Bellini, who after checking out the cover, says, "AH! Miele Guide!" Except he pronounces it Italian-style: Mi-ye-le Gi-deh! "This is the best Asian restaurant guide!" Then signs it, yay. So I think a new family tradition has been born.

Hope you update your blog soon!

Nice, you learn new stuff everyday! I was pronouncing it "Mi-yel" all this time. Funny!
