Interesting and very informative. Being in the Middle East sure makes me want to dine in some really good Filipino owned restos like Sentro, Portico and Uva(is there still Uva in Greenbelt?) I did not know you do food writing till now. I backread all of your posts from 2007 till present. I used to read Ms Doreen Fernandez's column in PDI . Continuing her work through your own style of prose( witty, humurous but still filled with relevant information for foodies and would-be foodies) is admirable. Keep it up!

Hi Bob! Thanks! I haven't blogged in a while actually. But I am trying to get back to it. Uva's RIP =( My mom and I used to go to the one all the way in QC because we were fans too. Exciting eats in the Middle East, hope to taste some real Mid Eastern food soon!
